About Me
About Me
Looking for a therapist can feel like a vulnerable and scary step. I want to acknowledge your bravery and thank you for considering me as a therapist as you move forward in your healing.
I specialize in working with teens and young adults, particularly those experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, emetophobia, and trauma. I especially enjoy working with people who are looking for someone who can help them to build on their insight and skills to improve their ability to cope with difficult emotions.
In my work, I draw on a wide range of different therapy techniques, but I am particularly interested in CBT (Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy), Flash, ERP (Exposure & Response Prevention). and more traditional psychodynamic therapies. My goal is to help you to both gain more skills with managing difficult emotions, behaviors, and situations, as well as to increase knowledge and insight into what led to these challenges being so present for you. Some people benefit from one of those approaches more than the other, so I adapt my work based on what helps you.
